Jonathan lives in Ampleforth and has exhibited widely across the United
Kingdom with successful one man exhibitions including the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust centres of Slimbridge, Arundel, Llanelli and the London Wetland Centre at Barnes.
He also exhibits at Birdscapes at Cley Norfolk, The Wykeham Gallery at Stockbridge,
Herriot's Gallery at Hawes and the Look Gallery at Helmsley. Hehas shown with the Society of Wildlife Artists at the Mall Galleries and at theCystic Fibrosis Trust exhibitions at Bonhams and Christies. For more of Jonathan'swork please see www.jonathanpomroy.co.uk.
He paints landscape and wildlife subjects, particularly birds, mainly in watercolour but also in oil. All his work is composed from extensive sketches made in the field in all winds and weathers. He aims to pass his enthusiasm for observingthe natural world (including skies, seascapes and landscapes) and other subjects by sketching in watercolour.
