Dutch house is a great place for families to enjoy art, nature and food.
As a family you can spend a lovely time in the outdoors, walking and running through our Wildlife Garden, go on a little walk to the little wooded area or even go for a longer walk on 'the circular walk of Crayke'. In our information rack you can find a leaflet for this walk.

The river Foss meanders through the Wildlife Garden, so you might be able to spot a Kingfisher fishing, or when it is low tide you can have a closer look to spot some little fish or tadpoles.

The Kid's Nature Zone
in the Kid's Nature Zone you can try the 'Balancing Act', play in the 'Wigloo', or try the 'hula hoop' game. During the summer months we offer 'Farmer's Golf', a Dutch version of crazy golf. Lot's of fun for the whole family!

Games and Pancakes
Our café is ideal for families, as inside we not only offer children the opportunity to draw on our walls (well, the blackboard part of it) but we also offer a good range of family board games (monopoly, snakes and ladders, scrabble, cluedo, back gammon, etc) to keep you entertained. Our menu offers something for everybody. So do treat yourself to something delicious to eat and drink and enjoy the atmosphere and have a really good time!

During school holidays we will always have something special on offer: an art actvity or a new adventure trail. Keep your eye on the Special Dates section.
