Willow Frame Baskets
Frame baskets are in the folk tradition of the ancient craft of basketry. Using willow hoops and ribs to create the frame, you will be taught the techniques to shape and weave this beautiful traditional basket.

Willow Sculpture
Willow is a fantastic sulptural medium. You will create a unique sculpture by first forming a sub-frame, which is then filled in with a random weave. Basketry weaves can then be used to add features which bring your creation alive.

Willow and Hedgerow Christmas Wreaths
There is a wealth of colourful weaving materials growing wild. We will spend the morning identifying and gathering hedgerow materials and exploring their suitability for weaving. We will then weave them together with willow to create beautiful seasonal wreaths.
There will also be an opportunity to make willow stars!
