After years of Holidays in Great Britain and the birth of our son York (named after the city), we decided to leave Holland and cross the channel to start a new life. We often dreamed about a business involving art & nature. Coming to North Yorkshire made our dream clearer and our idea for Dutch house was born.
Sjaak Kastelijn (38) is the gardens manager for the Museum Gardens in York.
He has a passion for plants and a keen interest in wild meadows and a more naturalistic approach to gardening.
Cecile Creemers (41) is a graphic designer and had her own company for several years. Her passion lies in art and design, and she was involved in teaching art classes and organizing exhibitions and creative breaks.
York Kastelijn (3) is a full-time toddler with a creative mind and a great love
for the outdoors.
